Queen's Men's Volleyball fall to York in five sets

Queen's Men's Volleyball dropped their opening game of a two-game weekend set against the York Lions, 3-2 (24-26, 25-19, 25-21, 21-25, 15-7) Friday night in North York, Ont.

Nikola Mitrovic (Economics) led the Gaels with 19 kills, while Chris Zimmerman (Arts) recorded a team-high 30 assists, and Carson Francis (Economics) contributed 16 digs.

With the loss, Queen's record dropped to 7-2 on the season. The Gaels will have a chance to split the series against the Lions tomorrow at 6 PM. Fans can watch the game on OUA.tv.
