Gaels Dominate Ravens in Strong 6-2 Victory

BOX SCORE The Queen's Gaels Men's Hockey team delivered a dominant 6-2 win over the Carleton Ravens on Saturday, November 21, securing an impressive result at home.

The Gaels set the tone early in the first period, striking twice before the ten-minute mark. Liam Tanner (School of Kinesiology and Health Studies) opened the scoring, set up by Lucas Peric (Economics) and Derek Hamilton (Arts & Science). Just minutes later, Sebbie Johnson (Arts & Science) added another goal to extend the lead. The Gaels continued pressing, and with just two minutes left in the period, Nolan Hutcheson (Health Studies) found the back of the net, assisted by Aidan Castle (Arts & Science) and Cameron Tolnai (Business), giving the Gaels a 3-0 advantage after twenty minutes.

In the second period, the Gaels kept control as Hamilton turned a scoring chance into the Gaels' fourth of the night, supported by assists from Ante Zlomislic (Engineering & Applied Science) and Tanner.

The Gaels continued their strong play into the third. Michael Renwick (Arts & Science) added a goal with helpers from Johnson and Dharan Cap (Engineering & Applied Science), further widening the gap. Tanner then capped off a standout night with his second goal, set up once again by Hamilton, sealing the 6-2 win.

Goaltender Tanner Wickware (School of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Studies) made 26 saves, keeping the Gaels competitive throughout the game.
