Gaels Extend Undefeated Streak to 7-0 in 84-65 Victory against Nipissing

The Queen's Gaels Women's Basketball team added another strong win to their season with an 84-65 victory over the Nipissing Lakers on Friday, November 15th, improving their record to 7-0. The Gaels' fast-paced offence and disciplined defensive pressure allowed them to control the game from start to finish, keeping their undefeated streak alive as momentum continues to build.

Kiyara Letlow (Kinesiology) led the Gaels with an impressive 22 points, anchoring the offence with consistent finishes around the rim. Katrina Renon (Faculty of Arts & Science) added 13 points, while Brooke Hussey (Kinesiology) contributed 11 points, giving the Gaels balanced scoring across the lineup.

The Gaels opened the first quarter with strong energy, taking a 22-15 lead through efficient ball movement and steady defensive stops. In the second quarter, the Lakers pushed back, but the Gaels maintained their edge and entered halftime ahead 34-32. The third quarter proved to be the turning point, as Queen's broke the game open with 33 points, building a 67-45 advantage. The Gaels closed out the fourth quarter with composure, securing an 84-65 victory.
