Queen's Women's Basketball capped off their weekend road trip with a commanding 102–72 victory over the Western Mustangs on Saturday afternoon.
The Gaels came out strong, with Bella Gaudet (Commerce) knocking down an early three to set the tone. Kiyara Letlow (Kinesiology) led the charge with an explosive first half, tallying 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists as Queen's built a 28-point lead heading into halftime.
The momentum carried through the second half, with the Gaels entering the final quarter up 81–45 before cruising to the triple-digit win.
Letlow finished with a dominant double-double — 24 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 assists. Brooke Hussey (Kinesiology) filled the stat sheet with 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists, while Katrina Renon (Arts & Science) added 19 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Ally Smith (Kinesiology) contributed 9 points, with Bella Gaudet (Commerce) and Mikayla McFarlane (Kinesiology) each adding 8 to round out a balanced offensive effort for the Gaels.
