The Queen's Men's Soccer team returned to Richardson Stadium on Saturday, October 5th, facing a tough 0-2 loss to the Carleton Ravens. The Gaels displayed strong discipline and structure, controlling the pace and keeping the Ravens off the board in the opening half.
The match opened with a strong defensive save, as
Tasos Golias (Commerce) made a remarkable goal-line header to deny an early Carleton goal. Despite a competitive effort throughout, the Ravens found the net twice in the second half to secure a 2–0 result. The Gaels continued to apply pressure until the final whistle, with goalkeeper
Connor Adams (Fine Arts) delivering several key saves to keep the game within reach.
The Gaels will look to bounce back on Friday, October 10th, when they host the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks at Richardson Stadium.
