Queen's Women's Hockey dropped their first game of the season, losing to the host Brock Badgers 4-3 in St. Catharines, Ont. Friday night.
The Gaels and Badgers traded goals throughout the first two periods before Brock scored two in the third period. Queen's would get one back but it wasn't enough, as Brock held on for a one-goal win.
Carys Collie (Life Sciences),
Sophie Hudson (Chemical Engineering), and
Mikayla Cranney (Arts & Science) scored for the Gaels in the loss.
With the loss, Queen's record fell to 4-1-0. The Gaels are back in action next weekend, taking on the Western Mustangs and Waterloo Warriors on the road.
