Queen's Women's Basketball extended their winning streak to 11 games with a 74-46 victory over the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks. The Gaels dominated inside and on defense, continuing their undefeated streak against Ontario Tech since the program's inception.
Katrina Renon (Arts & Science) led Queen's with an efficient performance, scoring a game-high 23 points on 7-for-8 shooting, including three three-pointers, while adding 10 rebounds for a double-double. 
Mikayla McFarlane (Kinesiology) also recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, contributing to Queen's 38 points in the paint.
The Gaels jumped to an early lead, outscoring the Ridgebacks 25-7 in the first quarter. 
Brooke Hussey (Kinesiology) provided a spark with 11 first-quarter points, finishing the game with 14 points, five rebounds, and six assists. Queen's shot a scorching 71.4% in the opening frame, building momentum that carried through the game.
Ontario Tech found some offensive rhythm in the second quarter, but Queen's defense held firm, forcing 17 turnovers that led to 25 points. The Gaels led 41-23 at halftime, with Renon pacing the team with 14 points.
Despite a slight dip in offensive efficiency in the third quarter, Queen's maintained control, limiting Ontario Tech to 24.6% shooting from the field. 
Amy Hagman (Kinesiology) connected on two three-pointers to finish with 10 points, while 
Ally Smith (Kinesiology) added five points and two assists.
Queen's finished the game with authority, pushing their lead to as much as 28 points in the final frame. The Gaels displayed their depth and defensive tenacity, limiting the Ridgebacks to just three three-pointers on 19 attempts while securing a 40-33 rebounding advantage.
