Queen's Men's Volleyball fall to Western 3-0 (22-25, 16-25, 21-25) Saturday night in London, Ont.
After the Gaels clinched a victory last night, the Mustangs returned to the court to level the playing field, concluding the double-header weekend with one win apiece.
Zig Licis (Louisville, CO) and
Reed Venning (Courtice, Ont.) led the Gaels with 7 kills each, while
Erik Siksna (Markham, Ont.) added 4.
Chris Zimmerman (Prince George, B.C.) registered 23 assists in the match.
With the loss, the Gaels' record fell to 15-5, bringing their regular season to a close. Queen's will host the U SPORTS Men's Volleyball Championship at the ARC (Athletics and Recreation Centre) from March 14-17, 2024.
