Queen's Women's Hockey defeated the York Lions 2-1 Friday night in Toronto, Ont. in their pentultimate game of the regular season.
The Gaels opened the scoring early in the first period when 
Sarah Campbell (Oakville, Ont.) found the back of the net, and after a scoreless second period, doubled their lead early in the third period on a goal by 
Alyson Reeves (Toronto, Ont.), assisted by 
Kennedy MacAlpine (Newmarket, Ont.).
The Lions would cut Queen's lead in half midway through the final frame, but the Gaels would hold on the rest of the way for the one-goal win.

Emma Tennant (Pointe-Claire, Que.) made 31 saves in the win.
With the victory, the Gaels improved their record to 14-13-0-0. Queen's will close out their regular season schedule Saturday night against the Toronto Varsity Blues in Toronto.
