Queen's Men's Rugby fell to the Guelph Gryphons 31-21 in the OUA Men's Rugby Championship Friday night in Guelph, Ont. With the result, the Gaels finished the conference season as the silver medalists.
Queen's jumped out to an early lead, scoring the first two tries of the game to lead 14-0. The Gaels also led 21-14 but Guelph managed to come back and win by 10 points.
Noah Gittens (Kinesiology) led the way for Queen's with two tries while
Marcus D'Acre (Economics) added three converts for six points.
Trekker James (Psychology) also scored a try for the Gaels.
Queen's will end their 2024 season next week in Ottawa, Ont. at the Canadian University Men's Rugby Championship (CUMRC).
