KINGSTON, Ont. (Oct. 18, 2024) - Queen's Men's Hockey dropped their first game of the season, a 3-1 loss to the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks Friday night at Memorial Centre.

After the Ridgebacks opened the scoring in the first period, the Gaels' Sam Marburg (PROGRAM) evened the score 1-1 early in the second period.

Ontario Tech would respond with a goal of their own in the second period, and added an insurance marker in the third for the two-score win.

With the loss, Queen's record fell to 4-1-0 on the season. The Gaels will host the Laurier Golden Hawks on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Memorial Centre to close out their home doubleheader. Tickets for the game can be purchased on the Queen's Gaels Tickets Website.
