Queen's Women's Hockey fell 5-1 to the Toronto Varsity Blues Saturday night in Toronto, Ont.

Logan Biggs (Toronto, Ont.) opened the scoring for the Gaels just two minutes into the game, on a goal assisted by Taya Leonard (XXX) and Megan Hirschfeld (XXX).

The Varsity Blues scored five unanswered goals, including a late empty-netter, for the four-goal win.

With the loss, Queen's record dropped to 9-10-0-0. The Gaels return to the ice next weekend, hosting the York Lions for a doubleheader, Saturday, Jan. 20 and Sunday, Jan. 21, at the Memorial Centre.
