Gaels draw Gee-Gees in Ottawa to remain undefeated

Queen's Women's Soccer remained undefeated on the season after playing the host Ottawa Gee-Gees to a 0-0 draw Sunday in Ottawa, Ont.

With the draw, the Gaels' record moved to 6-0-1. Queen's remained on top of the OUA East standings after the weekend's action, with 19 points in seven games.

Gaels goalkeeper Kirstin Tynan (North Vancouver, B.C.) earned a sixth clean sheet on the season, recording four saves in the draw. Tynan and the Gaels have allowed just one goal against all season.

Queen's finished the game with six shots and three shots on goal.

The Gaels return to the field next weekend with a road matchup against the Toronto Varsity Blues, on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. in Toronto, Ont. Queen's defeated the Varsity Blues 2-0 in their previous meeting, the Gaels' home opener on Aug. 31.
