Purchasing Tickets

  • Tournament Passes for the 2023 U SPORTS Women’s Soccer Championship are available here.
  • Early bird passes are available for $45 – a savings of 30% -- and will be available until October 31. Tournament passes will be on sale for $55 as of November 1.
  • Single day passes will go on sale November 6.

 

Seating

  • All seating for the 2023 U SPORTS Women’s Soccer Championship will be general admission and seats will be available on a first come, first served basis.
  • Accessible seating is available in most sections along the top row of Richardson Stadium.
  • Gates will open each day one hour prior to the first game. Fans will enter the Stadium through Gate 2 located next to the box office.

Richardson Stadium Parking

  • Parking Lots 1 (adjacent to the entrance) and 3 (adjacent to Miklas-McCarney Field) will be open and spaces will be available on a first come, first served basis throughout the championship at no cost.
    • Recommended route: Please enter west campus off Johnson St. (West of Sr. John A. Macdonald Blvd.)
  • Parking is PROHIBITED on the fire lane and in any grass areas.

 

Accessible Parking:

  • Lot 1 at Richardson Stadium offers barrier-free parking spots adjacent to the entrance.

 

Alternative West Campus Parking

  • Parking Lots 4-8 will be available on a paid permit basis on Thursday and Friday at a rate of $10 per day. Parking in lots 4-8 after 5 p.m. on weekdays, and at any point on Saturday or Sunday, is free.

Transportation

Restrooms and Water

  • Richardson Stadium has restrooms on the concourse level of the east side of the venue and on the Lang Pavilion, as well as on ground level of the west side of the Stadium.
  • Spectators are welcome to bring empty reusable water bottles and fill them at one of the water stations located adjacent to each restroom entrance on the East, West, and North structures.
  • Please note: Queen’s University does not permit the sale of single-use water bottles on campus, and water will not be available for sale from the concessions at Richardson Stadium.

 

Concessions

  • Concession service will be available from the East concession stand for the duration of the tournament. The Lang Pavilion concession will be open for service for the final two matches of the day on November 9 and 10, and for all matches on November 11 and 12.
  • Local food trucks will be on-site over the course of the tournament. Vendors can be found in the Food Court adjacent to Gate 2 on the East concourse.
  • Please note: Richardson Stadium is a cashless venue.

 

Merchandise and Souvenirs

  • Fans looking to purchase 2023 U SPORTS Women’s Soccer Championship merchandise are encouraged to visit the Q Shop located on the East concourse adjacent to Gate 2.
  • Fans can also place a merchandise order online at this link.
  • Please note: Richardson Stadium is a cashless venue.

 

Weather

  • Richardson Stadium is an outdoor venue and games will be held regardless of weather, unless it is deemed unsafe to do so. Fans are advised to dress according to conditions. Umbrellas are permitted within Richardson Stadium, but must not interfere with the experience of other guests. Rain ponchos will be available for purchase at the Q Shop located on the East concourse of the venue.

 

Lost and Found

  • All items that are found by patrons or facility staff can be brought to the Q Shop located adjacent to Gate 2 on the East concourse. Following the competition all items will be brought to Q Services Counter in the Queen's Athletics and Recreation Centre at 284 Earl Street at the conclusion of the tournament.

 

Emergency Information

  • In the event Richardson Stadium needs to be evacuated due to weather or other emergency conditions, a notification to spectators will be shared over the public address system. Spectators will be asked to take shelter in their vehicles or at Duncan McArthur Hall located south of Richardson Stadium on West Campus.
  • Outdoor Emergency Phones are easily identified on campus by their blue lights and yellow boxes with a large red button and are located throughout Richardson Stadium and provide a direct phone communication link to Queen's Campus Security's Emergency Report Centre (ERC) for any emergencies or need for immediate assistance.
  • Queen’s Athletics & Recreation is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all fans at Richardson Stadium. Profanity, racial or sexist comments, hate speech, homophobia, discriminatory language, or any other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches, team, school representatives or other spectators will NOT be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition.
  • Unauthorized entry into the field of play is strictly prohibited. Anyone who enters the field before, during or after an event will be subject to removal from the stadium, and/or fines, prosecution and Queen's University students may also be subject to the non-academic misconduct process.
  • Smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco products is prohibited on all university properties.

 

Prohibited Items

  • For safety and security, possession of any of the items listed below, or possession of any other object which endangers the safety of others:
    • Flares, smoke bombs, sparklers or fireworks of any kind
    • Laser pointers
    • Weapons of any kind
    • Any missile/projectile-like objects
    • Prohibited drugs and any other prohibited substances

 

Restricted Items

  • For safety and security, the following are not permitted inside the Stadium:
    • Metal or glass containers of any kind (water bottles must be plastic and empty to be allowed in the Stadium)
    • Backpacks and large bags over 14x14x6 inches (subject to search)
    • Unapproved large flags, banners and drums
    • Musical instruments *(except for bells or cowbells, which are permitted), air horns, or powered megaphones or electronic noisemakers
    • Aerosol cans (silly string, etc.)
    • Bikes, inline skates, skateboards, scooters, shoes with wheels
    • Frisbees or inflated balls of any kind
    • Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc.
    • Pets, with the exception of service animals
    • Strollers or baby seats may not be taken into the stands or left in section entrances
    • Tripods, selfie sticks and/or monopods
    • Remote controlled aircraft or unmanned aircraft systems (drones)
