KINGSTON, Ont. (June 28, 2023) – Queen's Men's Ultimate Head Coach Pete Galbraith was named one of three head coaches for Canada's entries into the 2024 World Ultimate Championships by Ultimate Canada on Tuesday.

Galbraith will be the head coach of Team Canada's Mixed team for the World Ultimate Championships. Galbraith has served as an assistant coach for the Mixed team on three previous cycles.

"This is the realization of a dream 10 years in the making," Galbraith said. "I'm beyond honoured to be selected to steer the ship of a senior national team and work with some of the best athletes in the world."

As head coach with the Gaels, Galbraith has led Queen's Men's Ultimate to three national titles and helped the team earn a silver medal in 2021. The Gaels advanced to Nationals last season.

The 2024 World Ultimate Championships will be held in Gold Coast Australia from Aug.31-Sept. 7, 2024.
