KINGSTON, Ont. (Feb.5, 2023) - Queen's Men's Basketball fell 82-52 to the Ottawa Gee-Gees Sunday at the Athletics and Recreation Centre.

The first quarter was neck-and-neck, but a three from Michael Kelvin allowed Queen's to get ahead to a one-point lead heading into the second quarter. The Gee-Gees' outscored the Gaels in the next frame, leading 38-30 at half-time. In the third quarter, Ottawa built their lead to 15 points. The fourth quarter was another tough one for Queen's, as Ottawa came out ahead to finish the game 82-52.

Cole Syllas led the Gaels offensively with 13 points.
Scott Jenkins recorded nine points and Michael Kelvin added eight points and 10 rebounds.

With the loss, the Gaels' record fell to 14-4.

The Gaels are back in action Friday, February 10th at 8:00 p.m. as they take on the Lakehead Thunderwolves at the ARC.
