Queen's Men's Basketball fell to the Guelph Gryphons 94-84 Friday night in Guelph, Ont.
The Gaels led the Gryphons by one point at half time after a back-and-forth first two quarters before Guelph outscored Queen's by nine points in the third quarter and held on for the win.
Gianni Itegeli led Queen's in scoring with 21 points off the bench while
Scott Jenkins added 17 points off the bench.
Connor Keefe also scored in double digits for the Gaels, pouring in 12 points while Michael Kelvin finished with a team-high 12 rebounds in the loss.
Queen's shot 50 per cent from the floor and 37 per cent from three-point range, compared to 46 per cent from the floor and 35 per cent from three-point range for Guelph.
With the loss, the Gaels' record fell to 14-3 but remain on top of the OUA East Division standings.
