KINGSTON, Ont. (Dec.1, 2023) - Queen's Women's Basketball came out on top in an intense match against the Guelph Gryphons.
Laura Donovan led the Gaels offensively with 19 points. Bella Gaudet also scored in the double digits with 12 points.Â
Queen's started off strong, but Guelph kept them on their toes. After an aggressive first half, Queen's carried a nine-point lead into the third quarter. With the crowd on their side, the Gaels built their lead and closed the game with a score of 67-47.Â
The Gaels earned 16 turnover points and 15 bench points, while the Gryphons registered only nine points off turnovers and eight points off the bench.Â
With the win, their Gaels' improved to 7-1. The Gaels are back on the court to take on the Algoma Thunderbirds Saturday, December 1st at 6 p.m. at the ARC.
