KINGSTON, Ont. (Nov. 4, 2023) - Emma McKnight tied the game late in the third period and then won the game in overtime for Queen's Women's Hockey, as they edged the TMU Bold 2-1 Saturday night at the Memorial Centre.

The Gaels controlled the game throughout, but couldn't solve TMU goalie Lauren Griffin until seven minutes left in the third period when McKnight (Dorchester, Ont.) broke down the right wing and fired off a terrific shot that found the back of the net to even the score.

McKnight scored again just 10 seconds into overtime to send the Gaels past the Bold, snapping their four-game losing streak.

With the overtime win, Queen's improved their record to 2-4. The Gaels and Bold will close out their weekend series Sunday afternoon at Memorial Centre.
