KINGSTON, Ont. (Nov. 4, 2023) - Queen's Men's Hockey were edged by the visiting McGill Redbirds 4-3 Saturday afternoon at the Memorial Centre.

The Gaels opened the scoring and were tied 2-2 with McGill through two periods, but were outscored in the final frame on route to the tight one-goal loss.

Jonathan Yantsis (Markham, Ont.) scored the first two goals for Queen's while Dalton Duhart (Grand Blanc, Mich.) continued his hot start to the season, netting the Gaels' third goal. Duhart also had an assist on Yantsis' opener.

Nolan Hutcheson (Kingston, Ont.) had a helper on all three Queen's goals.

With the loss, the Gaels' record fell to 6-4-0 on the season. Queen's will be on the road next weekend, taking on the Carleton Ravens and Ottawa Gee-Gees in Ottawa, Ont.
