Queen's Women's Hockey fell 3-1 to the Waterloo Warriors in Waterloo, Ont. Saturday night.
After the Warriors opened the scoring early in the second period,
Sam Wood scored for the Gaels to even the score 1-1.
Waterloo retook the lead early in the third period and would add an empty-netter late for the two-goal victory.
With the loss, Queen's record fell to 6-7-0 on the season. The Gaels will close out the first half of their regular season next weekend, hosting the Western Mustangs and Windsor Lancers at the Memorial Centre.
