Queen's Women's Basketball lost 80-66 to the Brock Badgers Friday night in St. Catharines, Ont.

Laura Donovan (London, Ont.) led the Gaels in scoring, finishing with 18 points.

Julia Chadwick (Ottawa, Ont.) fell just shy of a double double, with eight points and a team-high 11 rebounds.

The loss was Queen's first of the season, and dropped the team's record to 6-1. The Gaels will close out the first half of their season next weekend, hosting the Guelph Gryphons and Algoma Thunderbirds.
