Queen's Women's Basketball improved their record on the season to 6-0 after sweeping their home and home weekend series with the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks with a 97-36 win in Oshawa, Ont. Saturday night.
Six Gaels players scored in double digits in the win, led by
Julia Chadwick (Ottawa, Ont.), who finished with a game-high 20 points.
Haley Barbieri (Vaughan, Ont.) scored 13 points off the bench in the win,
Laura Donovan (London, Ont.) added 12 points, while
Bella Gaudet (Ottawa, Ont.),
Emma Weltz (Timmins, Ont.), and
Mikayla McFarlane (Kingston, Ont.) all finished with 10 points.
Queen's finished the game shooting 52 per cent from the floor and 36 per cent from three-point range, while holding the Ridgebacks to 23 per cent shooting from the floor and 11 per cent from three-point range.
The Gaels are back on the court next weekend, travelling to St. Catharines, Ont. to take on the Brock Badgers on Friday, Nov. 24.
