Queen's Men's Basketball dropped a close contest to the Carleton Ravens, 103-89, Friday night in Ottawa, Ont.
The score was tight for most of the game before the Ravens pulled away and finished with a 14-point win.
Queen's was down seven points after the first quarter but clawed the lead back to just three points at half time. Carleton's lead was still just single digits before the Ravens outscored Queen's by five points in the fourth to secure the win.
Cam Bett led Queen's with a game-high 35 points off the bench while
Cole Syllas finished with a double double, 13 points and 10 rebounds.Â
Two other Gaels players scored in double digits with Michael Kelvin recording 14 points and
Connor Keefe adding 13 points in the loss.
Queen's finished the game shooting 40 per cent from the floor and 31 per cent from three-point range. The Ravens shot 49 per cent from the floor and 50 per cent from three-point range.
With the loss, the Gaels record fell to 13-2. Queen's will return to the court Sunday, Jan. 29 against the Ottawa Gee-Gees in Ottawa.
