Queen's Men's Hockey saw their five-game win streak come to an end with a 2-1 loss to the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks Wednesday night in Oshawa, Ont.
Holden Katzalay opened the scoring for the Gaels midway through the first period on a goal assisted by
Jakob Brahaney and
Alex Robert but the Ridgebacks would respond just minutes later to even the score.
Ontario Tech would take the lead late in the second period and after a scoreless third period, would hold on to the one-goal win.
Luke Richardson made 23 stops in net for Queen's while the Gaels outshot Ontario Tech 37-25.
With the loss, the Gaels' record fell to 10-10-2. Queen's currently sits seventh in the OUA East standings.
