KINGSTON, Ont. (Sept. 3, 2022) - Queen's Men's Soccer fell short as the Gaels conceded two goals in a 2-0 loss to the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks in the second leg of their opening weekend Saturday afternoon at Richardson Stadium.
 
The Ridgeback first got on the scoreboard in the 28th minute with the second following in the second half 51st-minute mark. The Gaels had quite a few near misses, with several shots going just wide of the goal.
 
Queen's outshot the Ridgebacks 14-12 with eight shots on goal compared to Ontario Tech's nine. Manuel Dirube (Oakville, Ont.)  finished with seven saves for the Gaels in the loss.
 
Queen's Men's Soccer returns to action Saturday, September 18th at 3:15 p.m. at Richardson Stadium, taking on our Kingston rivals, the RMC Paladins.
