KINGSTON, Ont. (March 5, 2022) -
Lachlan McBride finished with a game-high 14 kills to help lead Queen's Men's Volleyball past the York Lions in straight sets (25-22, 28-26, 25-22) Saturday at the ARC, completing the sweep of their weekend doubleheader.
McBride (Vancouver, B.C.) added a game-high four aces and five digs in the win for Queen's.
Erik Siksna (Markham, Ont.) and
Zig Licis (Louisville, CO) added 11 kills each for Queen's while Siksna also contributed five digs and two blocks.
Liam Wilson (Toronto, Ont.) finished with a game-high 40 assists in the winning effort.
With the win, the Gaels improved their record to 10-1 and sit in second place in the OUA East Division standings, a half-game behind the Toronto Varsity Blues. The Lions' record dropped to 2-9 with the loss.
