Queen's Men's Basketball defeated the Nipissing Lakers 84-77 Saturday night in North Bay, Ont. to sweep their doubleheader and claim their third straight victory.
With the win, the Gaels (No. 8) improved their record to 8-2. Nipissing fell to 6-6 with the loss.
Queen's were led by Cole and
Luka Syllas, with
Luka Syllas (Kingston, Ont.) scoring a game-high 27 points and
Cole Syllas (Kingston, Ont.) recording a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
Cameron Bett (Staines-Upon-Thames, England) added 11 points and
Connor Keefe (Halifax, N.S.) recorded eight points and eight rebounds for the Gaels in the win.
Queen's will return to the court for a doubleheader against the York Lions next weekend at the ARC, starting Friday at 2 p.m.
