KINGSTON, Ont. (Feb. 11, 2022) - Queen's Men's Hockey lost 4-1 to the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks Friday at the Memorial Centre in their first game back in action.
It was just the second loss of the season for the Gaels (No. 5), who fell to 8-2-0. Ontario Tech improved their record to 5-3-1 with the win.
Andrew Suriyuth opened the scoring for Ontario Tech in the first period and added a second goal in the second period to lead the Ridgebacks' offence past Queen's.
Ryan Cranford (Embrun, Ont.) scored the Gaels' lone goal of the night midway through the second period.
Cullen McLean and Matthew Barron also scored for Ontario Tech in their three-goal win over Queen's.

The two teams meet again Sunday at 12:30 p.m. in Oshawa, Ont. in the back half of their home-and-home series.
