KINGSTON, Ont. (Dec. 2, 2022) - Queen's Men's Hockey earned a point Friday night at the Memorial Centre, losing to the defending U SPORTS Men's Hockey champion UQTR Patriotes 1-0 in overtime.

Gaels goalie Luke Richardson made 21 saves in the overtime loss. Queen's finished the game with 29 shots on net.

Neither team could solve the opponent's goaltending until the Patriotes' Julien Tessier found the back of the net 1:29 into overtime to give UQTR the win.

With the loss, Queen's record fell to 5-8-2. The Gaels are back on the ice Saturday in Montreal, Que., taking on the McGill Redbirds at 7 p.m.
