Queen's Men's Hockey lost 2-0 to the McGill Redbirds Saturday in Montreal, Que.
After a scoreless first two periods, the Redbirds got on the board 35 seconds into the final frame when Eric Uba found the back of the net. Mathieu Gagnon doubled McGill's lead with less than a minute to play in the third, giving the Redbirds the two-goal win.
Luke Richardson made 27 saves in the loss.
With the loss, Queen's record fell to 5-9-2. The Gaels sit in seventh place in the OUA East standings heading into the winter break.
