KINGSTON, Ont. (Nov. 9, 2022) - Queen's Men's Hockey defeated the RMC Paladins 2-0 in a mid-week clash with their cross-town rivals at Memorial Centre Wednesday night. 
Jonathan Yantsis and 
Holden Katzalay scored for the Gaels and 
Luke Richardson made 21 saves to record the shutout in the win.
After a scoreless first and second period, Yantsis found the back of the net on the power play midway through the third period to open the scoring and get Queen's on the board.
Katzalay, who recorded an assist on Yantsis' goal, doubled Queen's lead late in the third to cement the win. 
Trevor Longo, 
Alex Robert, and 
Dalton Duhart all recorded assists in the win.
The victory was Queen's third in a row, and improved their record to 4-4-1 on the season. The Paladins' record fell to 3-6-0 with the loss.
The Gaels are back on the ice on Friday, hosting the McGill Redbirds at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Centre.
