KINGSTON, Ont. (Nov. 4, 2022) - Queen's Women's Basketball won their second game of the 2022-23 season with a score of 81-41 over the visiting Nipissing Lakers Friday at the Athletics and Recreation Centre (ARC).

Julia Chadwick led the Gaels with 22 points and also had 13 rebounds and three steals.

The Gaels defence was strong, forcing 22 turnovers, which led to 28 points.

The team improved their free throw percentage by 15 per cent from yesterday's 61.9 per cent to tonight's 76.9 per cent.

Speaking post-game with Queen's Head Coach Claire Meadows, she stated that the team "wanted to build off their second half offensive pace from last night" and did that by improving their offensive scoring by 13 points.

The Gaels will take on the visiting Ontario Tech Ridgebacks next Friday, November 11 at 6 pm in the ARC. The game will also be available to stream on oua.tv
