Queen's Women's Basketball held off the host Waterloo Warriors for a 70-63 victory Saturday in Waterloo, Ont. to remain undefeated and improve their record to 8-0.
The Gaels jumped out to a big 18-4 lead in the first quarter and held on the rest of the way for the seven-point win.
Julia Chadwick recorded a double double in the win, finishing with a team-high 19 points and 12 rebounds.
Laura Donovan and Bella Belvedere also scored in double digits for Queen's in the win, recording 17 and 12 points respectively.
Bridget Mulholland grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds in the win.
The Gaels will close out their first half of the season with a doubleheader at home, hosting the TMU Bold on Friday, Dec. 2 and the Toronto Varsity Blues on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Athletics and Recreation Centre.
