KINGSTON, Ont. (Nov. 25, 2022) - Queen's Men's Hockey put an end to their three-game losing streak Friday. The Gaels took on the Ottawa Gee-Gees once again, this time topping them 5-2 at the Memorial Centre.

It was an eventful game the whole way through with at least two goals being scored every period. The Gee-Gees opened the scoring midway through the first period. The Gaels followed soon after in the 12
th minute with a power-play goal by
Holden Katzalay to tie the game 1-1 going into the second period.
Queen's had a strong second period, with two goals coming from
Josh Curtis and Nolan Hutchenson with a short-handed goal. They went into the third and final period leading the game 3-1. The Gee-Gees came out strong, scoring five minutes into the period to bring the score to 3-2. Hutchenson got his second short-handed goal of the night just three minutes after the Gee-Gees and
Alex Robert scored the fifth goal for the Gaels, solidifying the win.

Luke Richardson made a total of 29 saves on the night.
The Gaels improved their record to 5-7-1. Queen's will return to the ice tomorrow, taking on the Concordia Stingers at Memorial Centre at 2:30 p.m. The game will also be available to stream at oua.tv.
