Queen's Women's Hockey fell to the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks 4-2 Friday in Oshawa, Ont.

Rebecca Thompson opened the scoring midway through the first period on a goal assisted by Alex Maw and Scout Watkins-Southward.

The Ridgebacks scored the next two goals before Logan Biggs evened the scoring for Queen's midway through the second period, with Quinn Johnston and Alicia Juras recording assists.

Ontario Tech would score one more goal in the second period and add another in the third period for the two-goal win.

With the loss, Queen's record fell to 1-4-2-1 while the Ridgebacks improved their record to 5-4-0-0 with the win.

The Gaels return to the ice tomorrow, in the second half of their home-and-home series with the Ridgebacks, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Memorial Centre.
