Queen's Men's Basketball remain undefeated after defeating the McMaster Marauders 79-65 in Hamilton, Ont. on Sunday.
Four players scored in double digits for the Gaels, led by
Cole Syllas and Michael Kelvin, who each scored a game-high 16 points. Kelvin fell just one rebound short of a double double, recording nine in the win, while
Cole Syllas grabbed eight rebounds.
Cam Bett recorded 15 points while
Luka Syllas added 12 points in the win.
After a close first quarter, the Gaels pulled away in the second and third quarters, taking a seven-point lead into half time and 22-point lead into the fourth quarter.
Queen's outshot the Marauders 44.8 per cent from the floor and 31.8 per cent from three-point range compared to 39.3 per cent from the floor and 22.7 per cent from three-point range for McMaster.
The Gaels, now 4-0, return to the court on Friday, Nov. 18 at 8 p.m. against the Carleton Ravens at the Athletics and Recreation Centre (ARC).
