KINGSTON, Ont. (Oct. 7, 2022) - Queen's Women's Soccer tied the Nipissing Lakers 1-1 Friday afternoon at Richardson Stadium. The women's team put on a show for their Think Pink match, raising awareness and money for breast cancer research and surpassed their fundraising goal of $15,000.
The Gaels had a large audience for their Think Pink Game as well, with several Kingston schools coming to support Queen's Women's Soccer.

Queen's opened scoring in the 22
nd minute with a beautifully placed shot by
Lily Goss. Goss appeared to score her second goal of the game seven minutes later, but the play was called offside. Nippissing then followed up by scoring in 56
th minute to even out the score.
With the draw, the Gaels' record moved to 5-0-3 on the season, remaining undefeated. The women's team plays away next Wednesday, October 12
