Queen's Men's Hockey fell to the Concordia Stingers 3-2 in Montreal, Que. on Friday.
After the Stingers opened the scoring with a power play goal early in the first period, the Gaels scored two goals to take a 2-1 lead.
Owen Lalonde (Windsor, Ont.) got Queen's on the board early in the second period with a goal assisted by
Dalton Duhart (Grand Blanc, Mich.) and
Ryan Cranford (Embrun, Ont.).
Jonathan Yantsis (Markham, Ont.) scored five minutes later, assisted by
Trevor Longo (North Vancouver, B.C.) and
Lucas Peric (Georgetown, Ont.).
Concordia would respond with the equalizer just 15 seconds later before netting the winner in the third period.
With the loss, the Gaels' record fell to 1-4. Queen's is back on the ice Saturday against the McGill Redbirds.
