KINGSTON, Ont. (Oct. 21, 2022) - Queen's Women's soccer is one game away from having a completely undefeated season after beating TMU Bold 5-0 at home earlier this afternoon.  

The women's team started off the final weekend of the regular season strong netting five goals with five different goal scorers. They had 26 shots with 17 landing on goal. 

Jenna Matsukubo (Ottawa, Ont.) opened the scoring in the 14^th minute, with an assist from Cecilia Way. Way (Victoria, B.C.) then got a goal for herself in the 56^th minute. Raya Athwal (White Rock, B.C.) squeezed another goal in during the first half, putting her at five for the season. Mattie Strickler (Ottawa, Ont.) and Marissa Gravel (Ottawa, Ont.) scored the final two goals of the game.  

With the win, the Gaels improved their record to 8-0-3 on the season. 
 
Queen's will close out their regular season on Sunday, Oct. 23 at Noon against the Laurentian Voyageurs at Richardson Stadium.
