Queen's Men's Hockey dropped their second straight game to the UQTR Patriotes, 4-1, Saturday afternoon in Trois Rivieres, Que.
One day after losing a tight contest to the defending U SPORTS Men's Hockey champions, the Gaels lost by three goals.
UQTR opened the scoring on the power play three minutes into the game. Queen's would even the score late in the first period when 
Nolan Hutcheson (Kingston. Ont.) found the back of the net on a goal assisted by 
Alex Robert (Ottawa, Ont.) and 
Holden Katzalay (West Vancouver, B.C.).
The Patriotes retook the lead before the first period was out with another power play goal before adding goals in the second and third period, an empty netter, for the three-goal win.
Queen's was outshot 34-28 with 
Luke Richardson (Barrie, Ont.) making 31 saves for Queen's.
The Gaels, who opened the season 0-2, return home for their home opener next weekend, taking on the Ottawa Gee-Gees Friday, Oct. 21 and the Carleton Ravens Saturday, Oct. 22 at Memorial Centre.Â
