Queen's Women's Rugby are the sole remaining undefeated team in the OUA after defeating the Guelph Gryphons 45-18 in Guelph, Ont. The Gaels improved their record to 5-0 with the win and now have sole posession of first place in the standings.
Maggie Banks (Coquitlam. B.C.) led the Gaels with three tries for 15 points in the win.
Magali Harvey (Quebec City, Que.) added two tries while Maddy Kushner (Ottawa, Ont.) and
Jaden Walker (Oakville, Ont.) added one try each.
Lizzie Gibson (Caledon, Ont.), who leads the country in scoring this season, added four converts for Queen's.
The Gaels will conclude their regular season next week at home, hosting the Trent Excalibur at Nixon Field on Friday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.
