The Queen's Men's Soccer team's comeback effort fell just short as they lost 4-3 to the Carleton Ravens in their home opener at Richardson Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 26.
The Ravens led 4-1 early in the second half before goals by
Jason Cho (Quispamsis, NB) in the 62
nd minute and
Andrea Gortana (Vaughan, Ont.) in the 90
th minute pulled the Gaels to within a goal. But Queen's ran out of time and fell to 0-2 on the season with the one-goal defeat.
Miro Berger also scored for the Gaels in the loss.
Queen's Men's Soccer returns to the pitch for two games next weekend with a home-and-home against the Trent Excalibur. Queen's hosts Trent Friday, Oct. 1 in a night game at Richardson Stadium before travelling to Peterborough to take on Trent Sunday, Oct. 3.
