Queen's Men's Soccer rebounded from back-to-back losses to start their season with a big 5-0 win over the Trent Excalibur Friday, Oct. 1 at Richardson Stadium.
Jason Cho (Quispamsis, N.B.),
Matthew Ciavarro (Cambridge, Ont.),
Milosh Stojanovic (Ottawa, Ont.), Inaki Hew (Singapore), and
Cameron Wallace (Victoria, BC) all scored for Queen's in the five-goal win.
Alex Dimock (Ottawa, Ont.) recorded the clean sheet for the Gaels, making two saves.
Cho opened the scoring in the 12th minute on a goal assisted by Stojanovic. Ciavarro scored in the 24th minute, assisted by
Andrea Gortana, and Queen's led 2-0 at half time.
Stojanovic scored in the 60th minute before Hew and Wallace added goals late for Queen's.
With the win, the Gaels improved their record to 1-2 on the season.
Queen's and Trent meet again Sunday, Oct. 3 in Peterborough, Ont.
