Rasheed Tucker rushed for a game-high 145 yards and the Queen's Gaels defence held the Ottawa Gee-Gees offence to just one score in a 30-7 win Saturday at Richardson Stadium.
With the win, Queen's improved their record to 2-0 on the season. Ottawa's record dropped to 0-2 after the loss.
Tucker (Ajax, Ont.) paced the running game, averaging 8.5 yards per rush over 17 carries while quarterback 
James Keenan (Ottawa, Ont.) added 34 yards and a touchdown on six carries, and fullback 
Konner Burtenshaw (Amherstview, Ont.) added 21 yards and two touchdowns on five carries.
Keenan also had a strong game passing, finishing 14-22 for 130 yards and a touchdown.
Richard Burton (Ottawa, Ont.) led Queen's in receiving with six receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown.
Anthony Federico (Niagara Falls, Ont.) had another solid defensive performance, adding two sacks to his season total while also recording seven tackles.
Nolan Bedard (Montreal, Que.) also had seven tackles and an interception he returned 16 yards.
Van Wishart (Courtice, Ont.) recorded a sack while 
Wells Karabin (King City, Ont.) and 
Eric Johnston (Prescott, Ont.) combined for a sack.
Eric Colonna (Mississauga, Ont.) recorded an interception he returned 51 yards.
Queen's is back in action next Saturday, Oct. 2, against the Toronto Varsity Blues. Toronto is 1-0 and coming off a bye week.
