Vaccination requirements

All spectators must be fully vaccinated to attend games at Richardson Stadium. Spectators are considered fully vaccinated only if they have received the full series (i.e., two doses of a two-dose vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine) of a Health Canada or World Health Organization approved vaccine, or a combination of COVID-19 vaccines, and 14 calendar days have passed since the final dose.

Spectators will be asked to confirm they are fully vaccinated, complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire and agree to comply with all Queen's University Health and Safety Protocols via the Q Game Day Check In form.

Note: Children 12 and under are permitted to attend games if accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult and seated in a socially distanced section with members of their household.

Q Game Day Check In and admission to stadium

Spectators are required to sign in using the Q Game Day Check In process that will be on posted signage at Richardson Stadium via QR Code for those arriving at Richardson Stadium on the day of the game. Those who have reserved tickets in advance will receive a link to the form via email to be completed prior to arrival at the stadium for an expedited check-in process. Spectators will need their Provincial vaccination receipt and photo ID to complete the Q Game Day Check In.

Spectators will also need their season ticket credential, mobile ticket, or printed ticket PDF, to be admitted to Richardson Stadium.

Spectators will enter though Gate 1 on the North side of Richardson Stadium and go through mandatory screening. Re-entry will be prohibited for those who depart during the game.

The box office at Richardson Stadium will be open on game days 60 minutes prior to gametime to handle spectator inquiries prior to the game.

Spectators are asked to depart Richardson Stadium as soon as the game concludes. Please follow traffic flow signage and exit through Gate 2 on the southeast side of the stadium.

You can find Richardson Stadium on the full list of Q Game Day Check In forms available here.

Tickets and seating

Those looking to purchase tickets are strongly encouraged to do so in advance at www.gogaelsgo.com/tickets as ticket availability at the box office cannot be guaranteed during the 2021 season. Single game tickets for football will go on sale one week before each home game.

All full time AMS and SGPS Queen's students remain eligible for free tickets to football games but must reserve their tickets. Details on how to reserve tickets can be found at www.gogaelsgo.com/studenttickets. Student cards will no longer be accepted as tickets.

Richardson Stadium will be open at reduced capacity for the 2021 season. Seats will be socially distanced in select sections and reserved for groups of two to five. A general admission section will also be offered at reduced capacity. If you are attending a game with a group that does not fit these size criteria, please contact our customer service team at custserv@queensu.ca.

Anyone who would like to relocate their seat is welcome to do so. Please see a member of our ticket or event staff at Richardson Stadium to relocate your seat. Season ticket holders looking to relocate their season seats are encouraged to reach out to our customer service team at custserv@queensu.ca.

Safety Measures

Spectators must always properly wear face coverings while in Richardson Stadium. Face coverings shall completely cover the mouth, nose and chin. Spectators will only be permitted to temporarily remove their face covering when eating or drinking in their assigned seat. Eating or drinking on the concourse level or in aisles will not be permitted.

Spectators will be asked to watch the game from their seats during the games to avoid congregating on the concourse level and ensure compliance with traffic flow and physical distancing protocols. Those loitering on the concourse level will be returned to their seats.

Sanitizing stations will be available throughout Richardson Stadium. Fans are also encouraged to bring their own sanitization products for convenient use throughout the game.

Food and beverage

Outside food and beverage will be permitted into Richardson Stadium as long as the items are wrapped, bagged or left inside a container to avoid spillage. Food containers must be clear, soft-sided and small enough to fit under the guest's seat. Security staff may, at their discretion, ask a fan to empty any beverage containers prior to entry to the stadium. Fans may bring EMPTY water bottles/beverage containers. Water Filling stations are located on both sides of the stadium. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited from entering Richardson Stadium. Bags may be subject to inspection upon entry.

Please refer to the prohibited item section before you enter Richardson Stadium. We are unable to hold any prohibited items for you.

The Pita Pit concession stand will be open on the East side of the stadium behind sections 105 and 106. Bubba's BBQ will also be stationed on the East concourse. The Gaels Club will be operating at reduced capacity to accommodate physical distancing procedures. The West concession stand will not be open due to COVID-19 protocols in place.

All guests at Richardson Stadium looking to purchase food and beverage will be required to abide by physical distancing and face covering policies while in line for any of the vendors available at Richardson Stadium. Any changes to concession operations will be communicated when details are available.

Cashless Payment

In an effort to minimize physical contact between patrons and vendors at Richardson Stadium this year, all patrons are asked to utilize contactless or chip and pin card payments throughout the stadium in lieu of cash. Point of sale devices and tablets will be made available at each vendor to ensure convenient and fast payment.
