Queen's Men's Soccer improved their record to above .500 with a 3-0 win over Royal Military College in a cross-town clash Friday night.
With the win, the Gaels are now 3-2-2 on the season and in third in the OUA East with 11 points. RMC's record fell to 0-7-0 with the loss.
Andrea Gortana (Vaughan, Ont.) opened the scoring for Queen's in the 10th minute with a goal on a penalty kick. It was Gortana's third goal of the season.
Nick Alie Day (Vancouver, B.C.) added to the Gaels' lead with a goal in the 13th minute off a header, before
Miro Berger (Kreuzlingen, Switzerland) added a third goal right before half time.
No goals were scored in the second half as Queen's held on for the three-goal win.

The Gaels are back in action Sunday, Oct. 24 at 3:30 p.m., taking on RMC again at Richardson Stadium.
