Jenna Matsukubo and Raya Athwal scored two goals each to lead Queen's Women's Soccer past Trent Excalibur 5-0 Friday, Oct. 1 at Richardson Stadium to remain undefeated on the season.

The Gaels, who are ranked No. 9 in the U SPORTS Top 10, are now 3-0 to start the season.

Athwal (White Rock, BC), who scored in the 51^st and 56^th minute, also assisted on a goal by Christie Gray (Vancouver, BC) in the 32^nd minute.

Matsukubo (Ottawa, Ont.) opened the scoring in the 24^th minute with a goal assisted by Cecilia Way (Victoria, BC) and netted her second goal of the night in the 40^th minute, assisted by Gray.

Kirsten Tynan (North Vancouver, BC) and Isabella Shih (Andover, MA) split the clean sheet, playing one half each.

Queen's is back in action Thursday, Oct. 7 at Ontario Tech.
