WINDSOR, Ont. (February 15, 2020) - The Queen's Gaels () defeated the Windsor Lancers () 1-0 on Saturday evening to officially clinch a spot in the OUA playoffs.

GAME FLOW
In a game that featured 10 powerplay opportunities, neither side was able to take advantage through the full 60 minutes.

The Gaels, in need of a regulation victory to clinch a playoff spot, scored the games first goal in the opening period as Quinn Johnston picked up her seventh of the season with assists from Robin Kethceson and Nicole Posesorski.

Riding a two-game shutout streak entering the weekend, Gaels netminder Makenzy Arsenault was once again solid between the pipes as she stymied Windsor for all 60 minutes finishing with 28 saves and her third straight shutout.
