WATERLOO, Ont. (January 31st, 2019) - The Queen's Gaels (7-9-3-1) look to move on following a shutout loss from Waterloo (11-7-3-1) 5-0 Friday night.
GAME FLOW
The opening period began with Brooklyn Cole scoring first for the Waterloo Warriors at 10:15 putting the Gaels down by one.
Down one to start the second period, Queen's opened with a five on three power-play advantage. The offence was unable to capitalize and remained down going into the final intermission. Â
With 6:27 left in the third, Waterloo would score their second making it a 2-0 game.
They would follow by scoring three more on the Gaels and ending any chances of any Queen's comeback chances. The Warriors Sarah Rettinger tallied three straight power-play goals, including two in the span of just 10 seconds late in the third period.
